The Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) was founded on the 1st of April 1960 as an association of independent professional architects with the arms and objective of fostering friendship amongst members, cater for their welfare and establish mutual support and cooperation amongst them.

The Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA), a Professional Institute focused on the development of Architecture and healthy Professional relationships within and outside Nigeria, seeks applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates to fill the position below at its National Secretariat located in Abuja:

Job Position: Accountant (Income)

Location: Abuja

Job Description

• The successful candidate will be responsible to the Manager Finance on financial matters pertaining to Receipts and Accruals to the Institute.

Eligibility Requirements/Conditions

• The candidate must possess a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) Degree in Accounting or Finance, be conversant with general accounting functions, and be computer literate.
• The candidate must also be competent in at least One (1) Accounting Software Package; with at least Two (2) years post NYSC experience.
• Evidence of Professional certification with ICAN/ACA/ACCA would be an added advantage.
• The candidate should also possess demonstrable initiative, honesty, integrity and excellent communication skills.
